Situated near Beeston Common, walkers can follow trails to Sheringham Woods, leading to Pretty Corner. Head in any direction from Sheringham to explore the best of north Norfolk.

The front door leads into a spacious hallway with cloak and shoe storage. The bungalow has an open plan living space with 2 two seater sofas, a 50″ LG Freesat Smart TV and oak furniture. French doors lead out to an Indian sandstone patio with circular wooden picnic table and an enclosed lawned garden (with rotary washing line).

The kitchen is well equipped, with dishwasher, microwave, free standing fridge freezer, ceramic hob, electric fan oven, toaster, kettle. There’s a utility room with washing machine, iron, ironing board, gas combi boiler and water softener.

Underfloor central heating has been installed throughout, beneath vinyl planked flooring. The bedrooms are carpeted.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, oak furniture and hair dryer. This bedroom leads into a tiled floor ensuite bathroom, with low level glass cubicle with overhead rain shower, flexible shower head, wc, wash basin and towels.

The twin room offers single beds and oak furniture. The main bathroom has a P shaped bath with flexible shower head, tiled floor, wc, wash basin, towels. Both the bathroom and the ensuite are porcelain tiled.

Parking is available for 1 car on a shingle driveway, with level access into the property. The property is approached off the Cromer Road and is gained through an archway leading to a shingled driveway. Note that access is restricted to a height of 2m 30cm, width 2m 30cm (accommodating a family car or SUV).

Sheringham

Sea Glass is located on the east side of Sheringham next to Beeston Common where the skyline is dominated by Beeston Bump, a 103m tall grassy hill formed at the end of the ice age. Priory Maze and Gardens is just around the corner, a tranquil and unique garden experience adjacent ruins of Beeston Priory, with a 7 foot tall maze.

It’s a 15 minute walk into town to reach the seafront, promenade and beach. As with many coastal towns, Sheringham offers plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs, plus a life guarded beach during summer. Children can enjoy the amusement arcades. There’s a large Tesco supermarket to stock up on supplies for your stay (a 10 minute walk from the bungalow).

Sheringham Little Theatre is an intimate and welcoming arts venue packed with entertainment for all tastes and ages, staging live theatre and music, and film screenings. Why not visit their website ahead of your stay and book a show?

The North Norfolk Railway (Poppyline) runs steam trains west from Sheringham to High Kelling (Holt), via the quaint station of Weybourne (used as a filming location in Dad’s Army and Hi-De-Hi). The Bittern Line railway runs regular trains east from Sheringham, along the coastline to Cromer, before heading inland to pass through the Broads at Wroxham and onto Norwich. This provide an excellent way to explore Norfolk and visit Norwich, without the hassles of driving.

Sheringham Park (National Trust) is west of Sheringham, the finest example of a Humphry Repton landscape, featuring a main drive with sea views, rolling parkland and temple. Explore a thousand acres of woodland and parkland with your pooch. The park boasts a nationally important collection of rhododendrons, set amongst Scots pines with viewing towers to admire them from above. The estate leads down past two World War Two pillboxes to the coastal cliffs and beach, home to skylarks and sand martins.

Also in Sheringham is the Reef Leisure Centre, with indoor pool and full gym facilities and the Sheringham Golf Club.
