The owners have tried to maintain an air of rustic charm throughout this wonderful property.

Features such as pastoral rough wooden doors with Victorian latches and beautiful exposed wooden beams can be found throughout the cottage. These give Hollybrook Cottage a calm, tranquil ambience and a feeling of quiet timelessness.

Downstairs the living room is a light and welcoming space with a traditional wood burner in a flagged hearth, providing a cosy atmosphere.

The furnishings are comfortable, including two large sofas with a warm rug in front of the fireplace. Modern entertainment is provided for with a smart digital television and DVD player.

There’s an enormous oven with full overhead extractor. A hefty ‘American style’ fridge freezer is also provided, together with a spacious dishwasher.

Access to the pretty cottage garden to the rear, with its patio set & barbecue, is also through the kitchen.

Leading off from the entrance hall is the downstairs shower room and toilet – again, attractively decorated in the same style and colours as the kitchen.

Upstairs boasts warm, pure wool carpets throughout the three good sized bedrooms.

The smallest of the bedrooms has a comfortable, plump single bed and the master bedroom is attractively fitted out with a king-size bed and double wardrobe.

The third bedroom is a spacious and welcoming twin – the two single beds can be pushed together to form a cosy double. There’s the elegant mix of a Victorian fireplace with Edwardian style bedroom furniture.

This bedroom offers a comfy armchair for guests to sit, relax and enjoy the peace. The window offers a great view straight down the village’s sleepy main street.

Finally, the large upstairs bathroom is flooded with light thanks to the two skylights.

As well as an upstairs toilet, the room has both a beautiful standalone bath and an exceptionally large shower – giving guests the perfect choice between a long, luxurious soak or the invigorating warm spray of the power shower!

Friday changeover – out of main season, flexible start and finish days are possible.
