Picton Cottage is a three bedroom property that can sleep up to six people and is located in the beautiful north Norfolk village of Sheringham.
The cottage is set back from the main coast road and is very close to Beeston Common.
This charming detached, Norfolk flint and brick cottage is positioned within walking distance from the beach and the town. There are two butchers, several bakeries plus a fishmongers where you can stock up on essential items and little luxuries to enjoy during your stay.
It has many delightful original features and is refurbished to a high standard throughout.
The cottage combines light and airy décor with modern convenience. It offers guests comfortable accommodation in an ideal location to explore the beautiful north Norfolk coast.
Picton Cottage is very well equipped with everything you’ll need to make your stay as relaxing as possible. It is the perfect property for a relaxing, family seaside holiday.
Outside – To the front of the house there is off road parking for 2 cars. The pretty, enclosed rear garden has garden furniture, a decked area and a chalet with ping-pong table.
Lounge – light and airy, with two comfortable sofas, a TV and a DVD player.
Dining Room – the separate dining room has a table that seats 6 and patio doors that lead to the garden.
Kitchen – the modern kitchen is well-equipped with an oven/hob, washing machine, under counter fridge, freezer and a microwave.
There is a cosy reading area with a small iron fireplace that leads upstairs to the three bedrooms and family bathroom.
The main bedroom has an ensuite toilet and a wash basin. There are two further bedrooms one with twin beds and one with bunk beds.
Bathroom – the family sized bathroom is tiled and has a toilet, bath, over bath shower and a wash basin.
Please note that all linen is provided except for beach and bath towels.
Please note also that Picton Cottage is over 100 years old and it therefore has low doorways and a narrow staircase. To help with this, the owner has added a sturdy hand-rail on the stairs.
Dogs are welcome, please contact the owner in advance for further information. One dog is charged at £25 per week or £5 per night for short breaks. Two dogs are £35 per week.
Picton Cottage is a strictly a non-smoking property.

Sheringham is a fishing town with several boats catching lobster and crab, the beach is safe and popular with families.
It is a delightful, seaside town with lots of traditional attractions including two amusement arcades, a museum and a good selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs.
Public transport along the north Norfolk coast is good, the Coasthopper bus runs right along the coast. It stops at every town and the bus stop is very close to the property.
Sheringham is ideally located to discover the coastal towns of East & West Runton and Cromer (eastwards). Here you can explore another traditional seaside town with its Victorian pier and the last ‘end-of-pier-show’ in Europe that hosts summer and Christmas shows.
West via the pretty flint and brick villages are the harbour towns of Blakeney and Wells-next-the-Sea. Close by is the Holkham Estate with a stunning, golden, sandy beach and one of the finest privately owned Palladian style houses in the country.
