Staithe View is a 3 bedroom holiday cottage located in the centre of Burnham Deepdale.
The property is ideally situated to explore the beautiful north Norfolk coast and is surrounded by excellent walks, with lots of places to bird watch.
This traditional Norfolk flint cottage is only a short distance from Dalegate Market, a very popular spot with tourists and residents alike.
It offers a well-stocked food shop plus a variety of shops to browse and different ‘pop up’ shops throughout the year. Dalegate Market also has a café, tourist information centre and a bike hire facility.
Staithe View is a very private holiday cottage, positioned in a small, well-kept development. The property can be accessed from The Drove, opposite Deepdale Market.
The holiday cottage comprises two double bedrooms (one with king size bed) and a further bedroom with bunk beds.
Downstairs is a well equipped kitchen with every appliance you’ll need for a comfortable stay, including a dishwasher and washing machine.
The dining area can seat six people – it leads to a bright and spacious sun room, the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a morning coffee.
The lounge has an inviting open fire and there are electric storage heaters throughout the property.
Staithe View has free WiFi throughout. All bed linen and hand towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels.
The front garden is secure, with decking and a lawn. In the back courtyard garden there’s a set of table and chairs. It’s a lovely place to sit and unwind. The property offers private, off road parking for two cars and garage space for scooters and bikes.
Staithe View holiday cottage is a smoke free cottage and doesn’t accommodate pets.
Short breaks are available Mondays to Thursdays and long weekends are sometimes available – please contact the owner for more information.
There’s lots to see and do nearby. You’ll find, in the cottage, a collection of maps, brochures and menus to help you make the most out of this beautiful part of north Norfolk.
The North Norfolk Information Centre is a short walk away; the helpful staff will be able to guide you as to where to go, what to see and what to do during your holiday.
Brancaster beach is a lovely sandy beach, it’s a great place to spend the day. You may even spot some seals! It has a small café, public toilets, a handy beach shop, plus parking too.
The harbour at Brancaster is a fun place to go and watch the sailing boats; the sunsets here are spectacular.
Close by is the Holkham Estate, with its fine sandy beach and pine forest. Holkham Hall is a splendid place to visit. The Hall hosts interesting events throughout the year, from craft workshops to rambles around the estate.
Sandringham Estate, the Queen’s festive holiday retreat is also close by. The house, its stunning gardens and the country park are open to visitors.
Hunstanton, a traditional seaside town is only a short distance away. Jump on the Coast Hopper bus service and enjoy the day travelling along the length of the north Norfolk coast stopping at many other seaside towns along the way, including Sheringham and Cromer.
Bird watchers can visit the RSPB centre at Titchwell Marsh and see a huge variety of birds. Or if you’d rather stay at home, the view from the property’s back bedroom window of the birds on the salt marshes is equally as spectacular!
